We recently hired a holiday house through farmstay.co.za in Leisure bay, Krauts cabin. We asked for a cleaning service as we were busy during the days. The cleaning service only arrived half of the days paid for. I then requested a full time maid for the last few days whom arrived (But not full day) but she refused to do certain chores, particularly pertaining to what had to be cleaned and laundry. We had to take our washing to a laundromatte as the washing machine in the house was broken On the the day of departure they presented the bill for a full time maid which we paid. A few weeks later we received another bill for cleaning for the same period alongside threats if we didn't pay. The house wasn't in a rentable condition to start with as the timber walkways and driveways were all rotten and the garden was a swamp. As a result our cars got damaged and we had to call a tow truck to pull us out. They also charged for the damage (!!!!) that we did to the garden when we got stuck. Whilst staying there they complained about our dogs although they advertised the house as pet friendly. Only one bathroom was functional. We brought this to their attention on several occasions but no-one came to fix it.
