On Tuesday 22/11/11 I had Mr Raymond du
Plessis visit me from Mustang Marketing.
After doing the whole sales pitch I was
overwhelmed by all the information. It
all sounded very good, but said that I
would like to sleep on it. Then Raymond
assured me that if I decide not to do
it, I can just phone him and he will
sort it out for me. Then on the morning
of 23/11/11 I phoned him to cancel. He
was really annoyed about me wanting to
cancel, but said that his office will
phone me. They did phone me and told me
that the cancellation department will
phone me back with the procedures to
cancel. This has now dragged on and
after multiple attempts to get someone
to assist me they phoned me back and
said that my 7 days are now over and
that they won't accept my cancellation.
This is after pleading for someone to
contact me. Now I am stuck with a
product I don't want with an absolutely
dishonest company.
This is what is really bugging me. I
also think that this is a very racist
company as I was assured by Mr du
Plessis that they only employ "wit boer
seuns" to assist as I will probably not
want to deal with a "African name". I
really think that this is
counterproductive to what South Africa
stands for. When I spoke to the first
lady on the phone I said that they seem
to be very Afrikaans. She answered that
they are proudly south African. I said
that that’s just proudly Afrikaans and
not South African and I got a snort.
