SA ROAD LINK POOR SERVICE.
My name is Leslie currently staying in
Middelburg EC.My daughter is studying in
Cape Town.On the 16 of September she
phone me to inform me that she wants to
come home for the holidays.I’ve send her
money to book her bus ticket.
When she phoned me back and told me she
had got a cheap ticket on the SA Road
Link ,I was very disappointed with
her.My words to her was that this bus
service is known as unsafe and poor
customer service,but let just pray that
nothing will happen.
She took the SA Roadlink Bus on Monday
26/09/2011 in Bellville at 11H30 to
Colesberg.She arranged with me to come
and pick her up at 21H10 at
Colesburg.When the bus arrived at
Colesburg she found out that her luggage
was gone from the luggage
compartment.The Driver inform me the he
is going to phone me the next day.Today
is a week later 3 October 2011 and I’m
still waiting for the driver to call.
I’ve decided to call SA Roadlink the
following 27/09/2011(011 -3330814).I.ve
explain my situation to a call centre
agent named Steven.He promise me he is
going sort it out and will call me
back.The next day he did not call and I
decided to give him a call again.The
next day when I’ve called him I had to
explain my story all over again.So it
went on for the rest of the week.What I
realise they don’t keep record of there
queries because every day I had to
explain the same story.On Friday 30
September Steven told me they have
located a bag but they must just wait
for the bag to arrive at there office.He
promise me he is working the Saterday
and he is going to call me Saturday
Morning at 05h00 just to confirm the
contents.How stupid does SA Roadlink
call agents think the clients are?What
company in their right mind will call a
client at 05h00 on a Saturday Morning ?
I’ve told the call centre agent Steven
it’s fine you can call?After the week of
lies I knew he is not going to phone.On
Saturday Morning I’ve phoned again just
to find out Steven was not working or
maybe he was working but don’t want to
speak to me ?I’ve spoke to a lady who is
suppose to be his Supervisor. She told
me she have to start the investigation
all over again but will call me back
before. Again she did not call me
back.At 12h00 I gave her a call and she
made me a liar by saying that she told
me she is going to phone me after
12h00.
I’ve told her if this matter is not
sorted out by Monday I will put my story
on the internet and will call one of
there Directors. When I’ve tried to get
a number on their website for one there
Management there was none to find ?
Today again I’ve try to call Steven at
there call centre and the lady said that
he is not in today?
I just want to make everybody aware of
the Poor Service of SA Roadlink and
please be aware of there statement
regarding luggage .
• When travelling with SA Roadlink you
store your luggage at own risk.They will
not got the exstra mile to look after
your luggage.
• They did not even give my daughter a
luggage sticker.There is no controls in
place over luggage.
• No only did my daughter loose all her
valuable cloths but the money I’ve spend
on phone calls from Middelburg to
JHB.
My statement : SA ROADLINK IS NOT
CHEAPER THAN OTHER WELL ORGANISE BUS
SERVICES.AT THE END OF THE DAY IT WILL
COST YOU MUCH MORE ON OTHER COST.

PASSENGER’S LUGGAGE:
Unless contracted to the contrary, and
at the sole discretion of SA ROADLINK,
each fare-paying passenger is permitted
to take free of charge, at own risk, two
pieces of luggage not exceeding 80cm x
60cm x 30cm in size, of a total mass not
exceeding 15kg. SA ROADLINK reserves the
right to refuse the carriage of luggage
that does not comply with these
conditions. Large items must be carried
in the luggage compartment and loaded
only by the company’s servant or agent.
Passengers should obtain a SA ROADLINK
luggage sticker when boarding.
Unaccompanied luggage will not be
carried. SA ROADLINK will not be held
responsible for loss or damage to
passenger’s luggage, hand luggage or
personal effects. No valuable items are
to be placed in the luggage holds. The
carrying of firearms is not permitted on
SA ROADLINK coaches. Harmful chemicals,
explosives, or toxic substances will not
be carried.

I agree when they say SA Roadlink has a poor service.my sister booked a Roadlink bus on Saturday 21/04/0212 for her and her daughter , they charged her 4 year old daughter a full price the bus was from East London to JHB , it was supposed to pick her up at Mount Frere ( Total Garage)by 19:55 by it didn’t pitch till today , She waited there till 21:00 and after that she called SA Roadlink call centre, I also called it took me 30 minutes to get hold of call centre agents, they told me that there is no bus, it got a breakdown on its way to UMTATA , I asked them what must she do now because it was around 21:30 they said they don’t know , my sister and her little daughter were in a danger because that place is a open space. They slept outside the whole night, it was cold and raining a little bit. They waited there till it gets in the morning , then she called again Lillian told her that there is a bus that’s going to pass by 11:00 she must wait, she waited and no bus came I called again I was communicating with a lady named Palesa and a guy named Bukhosi, they tried to assist but still no Roadlink bus came even on Sunday .Bukhosi tried to get other bus to pick her at Umtata as Lillian told her to go there, luckily enough it came around 17:00 on Sunday They were hungry and in danger for sleeping outside ,her daughter now is sick. She wants a refund of both tickets and I also want her to get it because she didn’t get a bus she booked . I wasted almost 90 rands of airtime trying to get your call centre agents to assist, I was calling like nobody`s business because my sister was crying I was also crying and she is traumatised now . People it seems like you don’t know Customer service laws, so now I am going to show you a lesson that you`ll never forget. I already organising a Media to come to you so be alert and I m going to report this matter to Dept of Transport if you don’t action

the crappiest bus service in South Africa.....I baught my tickets from Vereeniging to Pretoria and a ticket from Pta to vereeniging,so the bus was supposed to leave at 05h40 so i waited and waited but no bus and no emergency number to phone...so by 7 o clock i managed to speak to sa roadlink in pta they took my number and later told me the bus is on its way will b there in half an hour ..so 1 and a half hour later i phoned again and was told to get alternative transport the bus is broken,and it was told to me i must apply for my refund and if im lucky will get it in 3weeks time come on!!!man..so i managed to go to pta by train .And now ive got my ticket from pta to vereeniging so got to the station to catch the bus back and to my supprise theres no bus ...by then i was fuming....no bus please make other arrangements...so i managed to get a ticket with InterCape..Ok now ive got this Two Tickets to refund and no where to go .I baught these tickets at checkers money market and they told me they dont do cash refunds ....witch does not make sence to me because if they the middle man they should help people like me ,we managed to speak to sa roadlink and a lady by the name of Zola spoke to me and said the Manager would phone me and that was about 7 hours ago what service is that in any case ....but what goes around comes around...and this money of my tickets i cant get ...they just changing it for BADLUCK 300 BUCKETS FULL.AND the best of all is my lady friend warned me not to take sa roadlink because crap and i did not believe untill now and now i believe her and everybody else and im going to start advertising there bad bad bad bad SERVICE.....
